Signe Guttormsen wins Farveprisen 2019!
The prize committee has selected Signe Guttormsen as recipient of Farveprisen 2019 for her work If Walls Could Talk created for the new arcade and entrance at Køge Town Hall in Køge south of Copenhagen.
The committee writes: “Consciously and refinedly, Signe Guttormsen draws on almost 500 years of history on textiles with light and colours, where tight lines reproduce the town hall's changing facade over the many years. At the same time she guides the way into the town hall with colourful torches; mirroring the political parties housed in the building.”
The award ceremony will take place on:
Thursday 21 May 1pm in the arcade at Køge Town Hall
It is welcome to all.
